AXIS welcomes Rail Budget

Sudhindra Holla, Country Head, Axis Communications, has welcomed the Rail budget where security has been given a priority this year.  “We welcome Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu’s budget 2016 which focuses on key issues plaguing the railways which are customer experience, increasing efficiency, improving safety, security, sanitation in stations, increasing revenues and availability. To install CCTV cameras at 300 stations across India also including all Tatkal counters will ensure round-the-clock vigilance and safety and help prevent abuse of system where passengers are denied tickets. With the increased focus also on women safety, high-end surveillance solutions- safety/fire alarms, HD/vandal resistant cameras with quality images will help in deterring the crime faced by women in stations and railway coaches, and protect the perimeter from untoward incidents.”
