BetterPlace’s partnership with HouseJoy takes Home Services in India another step closer to ‘Safety’

Furthering its mission to ‘Safe Power’ the Indian populace by improving the country’s safety landscape, BetterPlace, India’s leading digital background verification aggregator, has tied-up with doorstep utility services provider HouseJoy. Under the move, BetterPlace will provide stringent identification checks, antecedent/address verification, and criminal/court record checks for the service providers. In addition, BetterPlace will also help Housejoy obtain a police verification certificate for every service provider.

The pan-India partnership, which came into effect in Q2 of 2015, is meant to provide exhaustive antecedent verification of service providers and their employees leveraging HouseJoy’s platform. Moreover, the company aims to continuously monitor verified individuals with frequent address and criminal checks to ensure the highest level of safety.
