Delhi Police unveils its first Mobile Control Room

A mobile control room that can be used on the road during public events in the city has been launched by the Delhi Police recently. Equipped with the latest technologies such as integrated communication system, CCTV surveillance and a conference room, the mobile control room set up inside a bus can be sent to any location at short notice.

The control room, built on a CNG bus, was flagged off by the Delhi Police Commissioner, Mr. Amulya Patnaik.

As per Delhi Police the mobile control room will be able to provide flawless communication where the usual communication is not possible. The mobile control room will play a very vital role during important events like the Republic Day and Independence Day. It will also likely prove useful for security management during VIP movements, traffic management, election arrangements and other emergency requirements.
