FICCI to host conference on “Homeland Security 2015 – Safe and Smart Cities”

Highlights of the conference scheduled on August 25-26, 2015 at FICCI, Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi are:  Release of Report on “Safe and Smart Cities”, Risk Assessment for Smart Cities, DGP/CPs Panel on SMART Policing for Smart Cities, Technologies to aid SMART Policing, BIG DATA Analytics – Safeguarding Smart Cities, Cyber Warfare and Information Security.
FICCI has been hosting annual programmes on Homeland Security since 2009. It has a Homeland Security Committee which is chaired by Mr. G.K. Pillai, Former Home Secretary, Govt. of India. The committee’s distinguished members include Ms. Manjari Jaruhar, Advisor – Homeland Security, TCS, Ms. Meenu Chandra, Director, Microsoft India, Mr. Ashok Bajpai, MD, G4S Secure Solutions India, Mr. Rajan Luthra, Head – Corporate Security, Reliance Industries, Mr. Rahul Rishi, Partner – Ernst & Young, Mr. Varun Jain, Director – Policy & Regulatory Affairs, Honeywell Int. India, Mr. Diyendu Pundhir, Director, Tyco Fire & Security, and Mr. GB Singh, Editor, SECURITY TODAY group of publications, among others.
FICCI has published a number of reports on Homeland Security for the past several years on subjects such as Building safe and Secure Indian Cities, Progressive Policing in India, Procurement transformation in police forces, and Intelligence-led policing.
Policy Makers, Researchers and Technology Experts from the Indian security Industry and from the enforcement agencies are expected to participate actively in the two day conference.
