Fire mishap in APSA India Secretariat Office

According to a message circulated by Mr. Jaspal Singh Jagdeva, Gen. Secy., APSA India Chapter “We are sad to bring your attention that on 29th June, 2015 night there is an outbreak of fire at Pragati Tower, Rajendra Place, New Delhi as a result APSA India Chapter Secretarial office has been totally destroyed. We are making an endeavour to retrieve the information’s and equipments.”
The publishers of the Security Today group of publications extend their sincere sympathies to APSA India on this immense loss. We sincerely hope that they are able to recover/reconstruct the lost information and salvage at least a part of the damaged equipment.
As per news reports: the cause of the fire, which started on the third floor and soon spread to the 13th floor, was not yet known.The incident was reported at around 1.30 a.m.Thirty fire tenders were rushed to the spot and were able to douse the flames by 3.50 a.m.”No one is injured. Huge loss of property cannot be ruled out,” the officials said.
