Prama Hikvision dedicates India’s largest security equipment manufacturing facility to the nation

Prama Hikvision, India’s largest manufacturers of Security and Surveillance equipment, dedicated  to the nation India’s first world-class manufacturing facility for security & surveillance equipment” on the  “Make in India for a Safer India on October 1, 2019 at Vasai in Mumbai.  Padma Shri & Padma Bhushan, Dr. V.K Saraswat – Member, Niti Aayog was the Chief Guest at the event. Dr. Neeraj Sinha, Adviser, Science & Technology, Niti Aayog was also an honoured guest at the event.

Mr Ashish P Dhakan, MD & CEO Prama Hikvision said that envisaging the growing needs of Indian market and in line with Make in India, a major national initiative by the Government of India, Prama Hikvision initiated the nation building program – Make in India in order to transform India into a global design and manufacturing hub. 

The new facility has led to job creation, skilling and has been supporting the technology innovation agenda in Maharashtra. The company currently employs over 1800 people and will be hiring more employees which will take the total headcount to more than 2,000 by the end of 2019.     The manufacturing site produces more than 5,00,000 cameras and 100,000 DVRs / NVRs locally in India which caters to over 50% demands of Indian market. Recently certified with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, the Indian factory manufactures products with over 60% indigenised works.
