Capt Vishal Dewan, CSO, Johnson & Johnson passes away

SECURITY TODAY, with deepest anguish reports the very unfortunate passing away of a valued colleague Capt Vishal Dewan – CSO Johnson and Johnson India. A very bright CSO departed way too soon at 43 years and we respectfully request each one of us to take a few moments to offer a silent prayer to the departed soul.

Almost all of us have, at some point, interacted with Vishal who was very much on the industry forefront in all security events and one who always had a super positive attitude.
While to some, Vishal was shy but for those who knew him he was a jovial colleague and the entire Industry is sure to have great memories with Vishal.

Capt Dewan was an experienced Regional Security leader with a demonstrated history of working in different industries. He was supremely skilled in Crisis Management, Security Risk Management, Emergency Management, Market Intelligence, Market Investigation, Supply Chain pilferages, Product Diversion, Product Security Investigation and Counterfeit enforcement Action.

Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Capt Dewan served at Microsoft as the Regional Security Manager – India as well as the Regional Head – West & Central India in Citibank.

Capt Dewan was a strong military and protective services professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration – BBA focused in Business Administration and Management, from Loyala Academy, and Business Administration from MDI – Gurgaon.

SECURITY TODAY mourns his passing away and offers its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May they have the strength to endure the loss.
