The second phase of 3 days Orientation training program on ‘SHE’ teams has been concluded at the office of Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City Police. Training was imparted to total 108 trainees in 2 phases. In the first phase of the program, total 55 Police Officers and men including WPCs attended the training session. In the second phase of the training total 53 officers and men from entire Telangana State including WPCs attended the training program. As a part of extending the program and concept of She teams to entire State of Telangana, 110 Police Officers in 22 teams from all the 10 districts in the state were called for the training.
The 3 days training program sensitized them about eve teasing, and the procedure to be followed for implementing this program to curb eve teasing. They were also trained regarding collection of evidence, legal provisions, counselling, practical field tasks, awareness campaigns etc.
