Mr. Rituraj Sinha gets appointed to the Board of Directors of NSDC

Government has made changes in the board of directors at National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC). The Board of Directors of NSDC shall not be less than three and not more than fifteen. The Central government shall appoint not more than six Directors, one of whom shall be the Chairman. The shareholders from the private sector shall appoint not more than nine Directors. The Board brings to the table a wealth of industry-wide experience, diversity of expertise and valuable insights to drive a positive change in the skill ecosystem.

The current board comprises, Dr. K.P. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; Mr. Ramesh Ramanathan Janalakshmi from the Financial Services sector; Mr. Rituraj Sinha from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI); Mr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney from the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM); Mr. Habib Hussain from the Council For Leather Exports (CLE); Mr. Jitendra Thakker from the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI); Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy from the the National Association of Software and Services Company (NASSCOM); Mr. Arun Nanda from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII); Mr. Pramod Kumar Agarwal from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council and Mr. Manish Kumar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer-NSDC
