Snapdeal joins Godrej to launch home security consulting services

India’s online marketplace Snapdeal has announced an exclusive partnership with Godrej Security Solutions, a leader in the home security industry for over a century.
As a part of the partnership, experts from Godrej Security Consulting Services will visit Snapdeal customers, do a thorough needs-assessment, and suggest measures to make their homes more secure. The consultants will also demonstrate the products and share details on the features of various security products available in the market as well as help in installation of the selected products.

On the partnership, Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic initiatives, Snapdeal, said “Snapdeal’s integration with a leading service provider like Godrej Security Solutions is envisioned to provide a multi-touchpoint shopping experience spanning products and services. We at Snapdeal, are re-imagining how people shop online by constantly evolving and adapting to ways that will enhance the experience for its customers to further improve scale as we aim to achieve 20 million daily transacting users by 2020.”

The service will be available in Mumbai, Thane, Panvel, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi and Gurgaon. To avail this service, customer will have to buy a coupon worth Rs. 500 from Snapdeal which would enable the visit of service engineer. The service engineer will provide extensive details on Home Security Solution as well as promo code of Rs 500 which can be redeemed on future Godrej Security Solutions product purchases on Snapdeal thus making the service practically free. To add to this, customer can also avail free installation on select products.
