G4S appoints new General Manager

G4S Secure Solutions has appointed David Kamperin as General Manager of its Fairfax, Va., office. In his new role, Kamperin will oversee sales and operational activity throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. Kamperin brings to G4S extensive leadership and management experience built on a more than 30-year career in law enforcement with the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and other law enforcement agencies. Following his 2011 retirement as Commander/Deputy Chief of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, Kamperin brought his skills to the private sector, managing security operations as Director, Public Space Management for the Downtown D.C. Business Improvement District.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and a graduate certification in Public Management from George Washington University. Kamperin also has participated in various law enforcement leadership and professional development programs. “We are delighted to welcome David to our team,” said Danny Grizzard, Chief Operating Officer, G4S Secure Solutions. “The wealth of his skills and strengths in strategic leadership, financial management and human resource management is a recipe for success in the complex market of the nation’s capital and surrounding area.”
