Board instructs examination centres to use CCTV cameras

Taking note of the increase in copying in the higher secondary (HSC) examination, the Mumbai division Vashi board office has instructed all schools to use CCTV during the school secondary examination (SSC), to check the ill practice. In the SSC examinations over 3.8 lakh students wrote the language paper in Mumbai division. In recent times, the board has taken a number of measures to make examinations fair, and the use of CCTV cameras is the latest one. The beginning of HSC examination saw a jump in number of students caught using unfair means in the examination across Mumbai division.
