Surakshit Awards recognise excellence in security and cyber resilience

Held at the Manekshaw Centre Auditorium, the awards honoured individuals, teams and organisations that have demonstrated excellence in protecting people, infrastructure and enterprise operations. The event reflected the growing importance of integrated security approaches that combine physical security, cyber defence and organisational resilience.

The awards were organised by Pune Security Professionals (PSP) and presented by SymX, with support from industry partners including CAPSI, Pinkerton, FSAI, GACS, the World Environment Council and Cyber Buddha. SECURITY TODAY was the official media partner to the event.

Awards were presented across multiple categories, including corporate security, cybersecurity, public safety, emergency response and leadership. The organisers said the initiative aims to recognise professionals who have delivered measurable impact in strengthening security preparedness and resilience.

A major theme of the event was the increasing convergence of physical and digital security. Speakers highlighted that organisations today face interconnected risks spanning cyber threats, critical infrastructure protection and operational continuity, making collaboration across security disciplines more important than ever.

The programme also provided a platform for industry leaders to exchange ideas on emerging threats, technology adoption and best practices in security management. According to the organisers, the NCR edition is part of a broader national initiative to promote excellence in security leadership and resilience across sectors.

The Surakshit Awards have expanded into a multi-city platform, with previous editions held in Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad, and are increasingly being positioned as a forum for recognising innovation and leadership across India’s security ecosystem.
