Surakshit Awards recognise excellence in security and cyber resilience

To recognise individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions towards strengthening safety, security and resilience across the National Capital Region, Pune Security Professionals (PSP) conceptualised the Surakshit Awards NCR 2026 that were presented by SymX at the Manekshaw Centre.

At a time when organisations are confronting increasingly interconnected physical, cyber and operational risks, the Surakshit Awards reflect the evolving nature of the security profession. The platform recognises not only excellence in law enforcement but also leadership in cyber resilience, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, sustainability and organisational risk management.

The awards honoured outstanding achievements across Government Services, Safe Premises, Corporate Teams, Cyber Security, Sustainability, Individual Leadership and Lifetime Achievement categories.

Among the major organisational winners, Serentica Renewables received the Best Security & Command Unit of the Year award. Tech Data Advanced Pvt. Ltd. was recognised as Security Project Team of the Year, while Delhivery Limited received the award for Best Fraud Prevention & Ethics Management Team. Hatfield Investigation Services Pvt. Ltd., Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Henkel India were also recognised for excellence in fraud risk assessment, anti-counterfeit initiatives and sustainability respectively.

The Safe Premises Awards honoured organisations that have demonstrated exemplary security and safety practices. The Oberoi & Trident, Gurgaon received the Safe & Secure Hotel of the Year award, while Sterlite Electric, The Chanakya Mall, Guardian India Operations Pvt. Ltd., Heritage Xperiential Schools, and the World College of Technology & Management, Gurugram were recognised for setting benchmarks in secure infrastructure and campus safety.

Recognising the growing importance of cyber resilience, the awards honoured the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and NexGen for Best Cyber Safe Project. Kratikal Tech Ltd. was recognised as the Best Cyber Security Service Provider, while noted cyber law expert Shri Pavan Duggal received the Best Cyber Lawyer award. CASK (Cyber Abhyas Sakriya Kshamata) was recognised for its contribution to cyber capacity building, and Dr. Niru Kumar was honoured for Leadership in Workplace Safety & Transformation.

The event also recognised outstanding contributions by personnel from the Home Guards, Civil Defence and emergency response services, acknowledging the commitment of frontline professionals who play a vital role in disaster response, public safety and community resilience.

Individual honours included Girish Kaushik, who received the Security Professional of the Year (Male) award, and Komal Gurung, recognised as Security Professional of the Year (Female).

The highest honours of the evening were presented to Col. Vikram Iyengar (Retd.), who received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Security, and Shri Amit Dubey, honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Cyber Security for their enduring contributions to their respective fields.

The event also recognised Riyazuddin Mansuri with the Radio City Alert Citizen Award and honoured distinguished professionals under the Tigers of NCR initiative for their contribution to strengthening the region’s security ecosystem.

Speaking at the ceremony, the organising committee said the Surakshit Awards have grown beyond a recognition programme into a platform that promotes innovation, knowledge sharing and best practices across the security and safety ecosystem.

The awards were judged by an eminent jury of experts from law enforcement, defence, corporate security, cybersecurity and risk management, ensuring a rigorous and transparent evaluation process.

By recognising excellence across public institutions, private enterprises and technology providers, the initiative aims to strengthen preparedness, innovation and professional standards across India’s security ecosystem.
