G4S supports Constitution Day celebrations at the Danish Embassy

In keeping with the annual tradition, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Peter Taksøe-Jensen hosted an evening of festivities to celebrate the Constitution day of Denmark at his residence in New Delhi. The day is observed to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Danish constitution of 1849 by Frederik the IV. Known to Danes as ‘Grundlovsdag’, or Independence Day, it marks the establishment of Denmark as a constitutional power.

Mr. Ashok Bajpai, MD, G4S India said, “As a group we take great pride in associating ourselves with the Constitution Day celebrations of Denmark. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark a long and meaningful association with India.” “Our group, G4S, has its origins in Denmark. We have had a long and meaningful association with the country,” said Rupan Sidhu, Director- Corporate Affairs, G4S India, during the evening, which was supported by G4S India.

Peter Taksøe-Jensen, the Danish Ambassador to India gave guests a warm and hearty welcome. He said, “India is a country with great potential. It gives me great pleasure to find myself in a dynamic polity like this country at such as opportune time.” The Ambassador also thanked G4S India for its support and proclaimed his appreciation for the services of G4S India and the company’s guards.
