IISSM to hold its 33rd Annual Global Conclave from Dec 18-20,2023

Security and sustainability are witnessing a paradigm change and IISSM Annual Global Conclave 2023 provides a platform to Ideate, Innovate and Implement the Change.
This year’s Conclave being held at Taj Vivanta, Surajkund from December 18-20, 2023, will feature risk and interconnections, including Climate Change, Sustainable Development Goals, Sustainability, Risk Management, Business Continuity, Cyberspace, and many other interrelated topics.

This is the 33rd Annual Global Conclave in a series wherein leaders from across industries, academia, politics, and governance join us from across the geographies to discuss, debate, and exchange views. The IISSM 33rd Annual Global Conclave will have leaders from the industries, academia, politics, and governance joining from across the geographies to discuss, debate, and exchange views.

This year’s overarching Theme is “Disaster Climate Change, Security: Business Leadership, Innovation & Building Resilience (BLIBR)”. In addition to the address by eminent personalities and ministers, there will be 8 Keynote Addresses and 7 Plenary Sessions.

The conclave will commence with a networking dinner on December 18, 2023 with the inauguration ceremony scheduled for the following morning. After the inauguration ceremony on December 19, three prominent leaders will deliver their keynote addresses.
Mr. R K Singh, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister of Power and New & Renewal Energy & Ministry of Power, Govt of India; Mr. D C Pathak, IPS (Retd.), Former Director, IB on Main Streaming of Security; Mr. Gopal Pillai IAS (Retd.) former Union Home Secretary on Planning for Humanitarian crisis: Planning, Early Warning, Response, Relief, Preparedness, Recovery and Knowledge Management will deliver the keynote addresses.

The panel discussions scheduled for day 2 will be on the following subjects:

• Understanding Risk and Interconnections: SDG, Disaster, Climate Change and Security
• Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance: Public, Private, Corporate, Civil Society and International Cooperation
• Business Continuity Planning for Business Recovery
• Planning for Humanitarian crisis: Planning, Early Warning, Response, Relief, Preparedness, Recovery and Knowledge Management

All Panel Discussion will have a Chair, Co-Chair and 3-4 Panelists who will debate on the subject on hand.

The schedule for the final day of the global conclave will have keynote addresses by Mr Amitabh Kant, Sherpa, G20 on Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance on Public, Private, Corporate, Civil Society and International Cooperation; Dr. Krishna Vatsa, Member, NDMA on Disaster Risk Financing & Building Financial Resilience; Mr. Pratap Heblikar, Former Special Secretary, GOI on Emerging Challenges: Cybercrime, Pandemics, Industrial Disasters & Fire Safety; Mr. K J Alphons, IPS (Retd), Former Minister, GOIand Mr. Chandi Prasad Bhatt, ( Padmabhushan, Ramon Magsaysay Award, Gandhi Peace Association)

The panel discussions for the final day will delve on the following issue:
• Disaster Risk Financing & Building Financial Resilience
• Emerging Challenges: Cybercrime, Pandemics, Industrial Disasters & Fire Safety
• Social inclusion, HR policy and Social Security measures for building resilience in Corporate Governance

The three day long IISSM annual Global Conclave 2023 will culminate with a Valediction Ceremony.
