ASIS India Chapters Meeting was organized on Thursday, 29th Oct’ 2020 on a virtual platform. In the present times when everything has moved from the physical to online/virtual world, the awareness of data, privacy and choices related to the same has taken the front seat and is paramount for us all.
Considering this as the need of the hour, the theme for the ASIS India Chapters’ meet was “My Data My Privacy My Choice”. The key presentation was made by Mr. Rohit Srivastwa a serial entrepreneur, a recipient of Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award in the domain of “Enterprise Security,” and a multifaceted professional with experience in Cyber Security, Enterprise Security, Secure Digital Transformation and Cyberwarfare. The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Manish Datta Chapter Chairperson – ASIS Society of Protection Profession Chapter 207 (New Delhi) followed by the keynote address by Mr. Danny Chan the Senior Regional Vice President of ASIS International, Region 13.
Mr. Rohit Srivastwa took the center stage and used real life examples to explain the importance of data & privacy and all other related aspects. The session was absorbed by the participants who raised several interesting and relevant questions, all of which were addressed by the speaker.
After the Speaker’s session, Mr. Sanjay Kaushik ARVP North addressed all and also felicitated the speaker and Certification Accelerator Scholarship committee members i.e. Col Mukesh Lakhanpal, Col Deepak Dadhwal and Mr. Rakesh Devgan with e-certificates. Mr. Kanwar Jyala, Chapter Treasurer concluded the chapter meeting with a vote of thanks.
