Vintra receives 5/5 score for innovation in Frost Radar Surveillance Analytics Report

Vintra, a provider of AI-powered video analytics solutions, has announced it received a perfect score in the Innovation category of the new Frost Radar Surveillance Analytics Report, a benchmarking system created by research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.

Chosen by the firm’s Global Security Research Team, Vintra scored top marks ahead of a field of 17 companies benchmarked for growth and innovation, according to the company.
“We are honored to have received this extraordinary evaluation from such a highly-regarded market intelligence firm,” said Brent Boekestein, CEO and Co-founder of Vintra. “This report validates the hard work our skilled team continues to do in order to deliver the industry’s best and most useful AI-powered video analytics solution.”

Vintra scored a 5.00 out of 5.00 in Innovation for its ability to operate on fixed, mobile, real-time, and recorded video feeds, along with the capability of on-premises or in either Vintra’s or the user’s cloud environment. The company scored 4.05 in the Growth category for its “impressive” progress versus more established vendors in the surveillance analytics market, the company says.

The report notes Vintra’s machine learning algorithm is unique to the industry, allowing Vintra to operate a multi-class detector engineered to provide analysis results faster than competing solutions. Vintra’s machine learning also helps eliminate analysis gaps and enables its algorithm to reduce the biases shown by some training algorithms, the report adds.

“Vintra’s advanced deep learning capabilities within their analytics offering remains highly unique in the overall surveillance industry,” said Danielle VanZandt Senior Industry Analyst, Frost & Sullivan. “In addition, their ongoing thought leadership around AI algorithms and how they can advance security use-cases across industries places Vintra in the top tier of industry vendors.”
The report also notes Vintra’s partnerships with leading VMS vendors allows the company to ensure its analytics suite integrates with the solutions its customers are using, allowing it to gain a significant presence among law enforcement, enterprise, and large retail customers.
