Transline Technologies IP-based video surveillance solution revolutionises railway security

Transline Technologies, a prominent supplier of cutting-edge security services, has won a sizable contract to deploy an IP-based Video Surveillance Solution at train stations throughout many states in northern India. Including the states of Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh, this ground-breaking initiative is a major step forward in strengthening the safety measures already in place along the railways in the area.

There are a total of 1633 stations in North India that are part of this project, and Transline Technologies is going to completely revamp the security there. Each station’s IP-based Video Surveillance Solution will be individually designed to match its specific needs, guaranteeing full coverage and the security of countless commuters.

In order to complete the project, Transline Technologies will provide, install, and commission Video Management Systems (VMS) at the selected train stops. To provide effective monitoring and quick reaction, cutting-edge servers, workstations, storage systems, and panic buttons have been installed.

The major thanas of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) will benefit from the integration of Network Video Recorders (NVRs), Video Analytics (VA), and Facial Recognition Systems (FRS) to increase security. Additionally, RPF monitoring thanas will have Live Facial Detection (LFD) equipment installed, allowing for the rapid detection and resolution of any security problems in real time.
